Paws for Books Scholastic Book Fair 2018 Wed. February 28th – Wed. March 7, 2018 Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that provides the books kids want to read. It's a wonderful selection of engaging & affordable books for every reading level. Reading for pleasure inside & outside of school has real and long-lasting benefits. It unlocks the power of information & imagination & helps children discover who they are. Please make plans to come to our Book Fair & be involved in shaping your child's reading habits. Coin Collections for Book Fair The "All for Books Coin Drive" was a huge success! Our students brought in a total of $1,374.71. Your generosity will enable all students at Pleasant Union to purchase books. Any extra money that is not used will go to teachers upgrading their in-class libraries.

The classes that brought in the most overall are: 1st place - Ms. Averett's 1st grade class with $104.03 2nd place - Mrs. Hay's 4th grade class with $96.99 3rd place - Mrs. Clark's 3rd grade class with $88.25
